Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-14
This Refund Policy applies to international Zeric Pro purchases. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Polar (Polar Software, Inc.). Polar is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and processes payments, renewals, and refunds. This policy should be read together with Polar's Buyer Terms and our Terms of Service.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If Zeric Pro does not meet your needs, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, for any reason. This is offered in addition to — and does not limit — any statutory cancellation or "right of withdrawal" you may have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
1a. EU/EEA consumers — your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory right of withdrawal: you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). For a subscription to digital content/services, the 14-day period runs from the day the contract is concluded.
Immediately-supplied digital content. Zeric Pro is digital content supplied without a tangible medium, and your subscription licence is issued to you immediately. Under Art. 16(1)(m) of the Directive, if — at checkout — you (i) give your prior express consent to us beginning performance (issuing your licence and giving you immediate access) during the 14-day period, and (ii) acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, then that right is lost once we begin performance — that is, as soon as your licence is issued and access is provided. If you do not give that consent and acknowledgement, your 14-day right of withdrawal is preserved. After you order, you receive an order confirmation by email; this, together with this policy and our Terms, records your consent and acknowledgement (Art. 8(7)).
How to withdraw. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement — email [email protected], or use the model form below (its use is not obligatory). To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your communication before the 14-day period expires. We will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, at no cost to you. Refunds are processed by Polar as our Merchant of Record.
Model withdrawal form — complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract:
— I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract of sale of the following goods (*)/for the provision of the following service (*),
— Ordered on (*)/received on (*),
— Name of consumer(s),
— Address of consumer(s),
— Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper),
— Date
(*) Delete as appropriate.
1b. Fixed-term (prepaid) licences
A fixed-term licence is a one-time, prepaid purchase for a chosen number of months — it does not auto-renew, and it is node-locked to a single computer (you activate it online once, then it runs offline for the paid term). See Terms §3 for the product; the following describes how refunds work for it.
Statutory rights. The 14-day money-back guarantee (Section 1) and, for EU/EEA consumers, the right of withdrawal (Section 1a) apply to a fixed-term licence in the same way as to a subscription. Because your licence token is supplied to you immediately, if at checkout you gave your prior express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right, that right is lost once the token is supplied (Art. 16(1)(m)); otherwise it is preserved.
Voluntary pro-rata refund. In addition to any statutory right above, we offer — as a standard policy — a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of a fixed-term licence at any time during its term:
- The term is counted from the date you activate the licence. If you have not yet activated it, it is treated as fully unused and the full amount is refundable.
- Time already used is charged at the standard schedule (USD $12 per month, each full year at $120), and any started 30-day month counts as a whole month used; the remainder is refunded. The refund never exceeds what you paid.
- The exact refund amount is calculated from your activation date and shown to you when you request the refund, before any payout.
How a fixed-term refund is processed. Because the licence is node-locked and works offline, a mid-term refund requires the licence to be withdrawn (revoked) first: when a refund is made, the licence's activation token is invalidated on our server, so the licence can no longer be activated or used, and the payout is completed once that revocation has taken effect. Continuing to use a licence after a refund is not permitted. To request a fixed-term refund, email [email protected] with the email address used at checkout and your Polar order / receipt number; we will confirm the amount and method with you. Polar remains the Merchant of Record for your original purchase.
2. Subscription renewals
- Zeric Pro renews automatically (monthly or annually). To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before your renewal date — see Terms §3 for the cancellation methods.
- If a renewal charge was taken and you have not made substantial use of the renewed period, contact us promptly; refunds of a renewal charge are considered on a case-by-case basis through Polar.
3. How to request a refund
You can request a refund either way:
- Use the link in your Polar order-receipt email (Polar handles the request as Merchant of Record), or
- Email [email protected] with the email address used at checkout and your Polar order / receipt number, and we will arrange the refund with Polar.
4. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are issued by Polar to your original payment method. Processing is typically prompt, though the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer. Where applicable, any tax/VAT charged is refunded together with the price.
5. Cancellation vs. refund
Cancelling stops future renewals but does not by itself refund a charge already taken; your already-paid period remains usable until it expires. A refund returns money for a qualifying charge. You can do either, or both, as described above.
6. Automatic-renewal notice
Where required by law (for example, California's Automatic Renewal Law), the subscription's recurring nature, billing frequency, and price are disclosed clearly before you purchase, you affirmatively consent at checkout, and cancellation is available through the easy methods listed in Terms §3.
