Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-19
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do when using Zeric. It supplements our Terms of Service; capitalised terms have the meaning given there. By using Zeric you agree to this AUP.
1. Lawful use only
Use Zeric only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights. Do not use Zeric to create, store, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful.
2. No interference or abuse
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair our servers, network, or services, or circumvent any rate limit, quota, licensing, or security mechanism.
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, or breach or bypass any authentication, without our prior written permission.
- Do not introduce malware or any malicious or harmful code.
3. Respect intellectual property
Do not copy, redistribute, rent, sublicense, or resell the software, and do not reverse engineer it except to the extent expressly permitted by Terms §1 or by mandatory law. Do not remove or forge watermarks in prompts, the tool catalog, or other assets and then share them.
4. AI provider responsibility
Zeric makes AI (LLM) calls directly from your computer. You may either bring your own API key (BYOK) for a cloud provider, or run a local model on your own machine — in which case no API key is used and no third-party AI service is involved. When you use BYOK, you are responsible for your use of those third-party AI services and for complying with the applicable provider's terms and usage policies (for example, those of Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or xAI). When you run a local model, you are responsible for complying with that model's licence. In either case, you are responsible for reviewing AI-generated commands in the Dry-run preview before executing them.
5. No unauthorized sharing
Your subscription and licence token are for you (or your organisation's internal use). Do not share, publish, or transfer your licence token or account credentials to enable use by others outside the granted scope.
6. Consequences of violations
If you violate this AUP, we may — proportionate to the violation, and after asking you to cure it where appropriate — suspend or terminate your access, as described in Terms §8. Serious or unlawful violations may be acted on immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.
7. Reporting & contact
